Navigate to My Profile from the main menu and from the dropdown list select Settings. A new window will appear. Scroll down until you see the Notifications tab. Here you can select whether or not to receive notifications when you log in.
If you no longer want to receive "like" notifications, make sure to uncheck the boxes next to When someone likes one of my photos/When someone likes one of my videos. Once you have adjusted your notification preferences, hit Save Changes at the bottom.
