All Premium members have access to the BateWorld VidChat feature. If you experience any issues, first check the 'Latest News' section on the home page for any known site error announcements. If there are no site issues and you experience problems with page loading, no available rooms or a blank page, please see the troubleshooting points below.
- Clear the cookies and cache from your browser, ensuring that you have logged out of all tabs before attempting this.
- Disable or remove any pop-up or ad blockers that may be running in the browser.
- Disable or remove any third-party browser extensions you may be running.
- Ensure there are no conflicts with any security software running on the device.
- If you're using a VPN, malware blockers could be running in the VPN software and be the root of the issue. If so, please either whitelist the URL or turn off and recheck the VidChat connection.
- Update the browser to latest version and ensure the browser can access the mic and camera.
- Test access to the VidChat in another browser other than the one you normally use to isolate the issue to the browser.
- Test access via another device (laptop, smartphone, tablet) to try to isolate the issue to the device.
If the issue persists, please raise a support ticket and let us know as much information as possible to your device, OS, browser and VPN.
